Studio & Menswear Associate

You will make a difference by…

  • Assisting with sales and style consults for MADE Clientele including providing style advice for fit, colours, and customizations
  • Overseeing the alterations to MADE Garments and coordinating with MADE’s tailors, ensuring adjustments to patterns are completed and returned on time
  • Leading the garment quality control process for MADE garments, and taking final measurements from garments*
  • Ensuring all orders are entered into our systems accurately, are compiled and prepared for daily client appointments.
  • Assisting and troubleshooting with client issues and concerns, in a professional and resourceful manner
  • Maintaining the merchandising and decor within our studio, and designing the client experience
  • Collaborating with the entire MADE team to report on metrics, improve business processes, and help continue to grow our business.

*Measurement training provided

It is important to note that, given our growth, this position is meant for a successful candidate to be on track for promotion to a managerial role within the first 12 months.

Other projects or duties may be assigned. Recently, these have included design of packaging and merchandising, styling of MADE’s mannequins, studio displays and decor, as well as assisting with photo shoots, special event planning, social media, etc.

What you bring to this role…

  • You have a minimum of two years work experience in at least one  the following areas:
    • Garment and Fit Experience – Experience advising clients on fit of their clothes as well as style. You are familiar with basic alterations and are interested to be trained further such as measurements, pinning, etc.
    • Retail Experience – Ideally in menswear or male clientele
    • Sales Experience – Clientele and/or Relationship based
  • You are familiar with basic math for retail and sizing/measurements
  • You possess outstanding people and communication skills, and are comfortable  in person, over the phone and in writing.
  • You are proficient with Excel and Word, and POS systems
  • You have an eye for menswear and love helping men look good and feel confident whether its for the office or for their wedding.
  • You are curious, coachable and  eager to learn and expand your skillset in a role that blends menswear and business.

*Candidates must be available to work 5 days/week, variable schedule between Monday- Saturday 10 am-7pm.

Are you an organizational and logistics guru, who stops at nothing to get the job done, and loves following and building processes to deliver results? As the Operations and Office Manager, you will oversee the backend processes at MADE, ensuring solid execution and profitability. You will also provide the organizational and project management rhythm needed to ensure projects are completed on time, and that processes are updated and improved as needed.

You will make a difference by…

  • Managing and processing all sales orders to ensure complete accuracy of order details,  management of production and client timelines, and ensuring client files and systems are updated
  • Acting as the main contact point for MADE clientele, coordinating with our sales and operations teams, as well as vendors, to ensure they receive all communications related to their orders.
  • Communicating with suppliers and vendors to ensure orders are accurate and on time, and resolving any issues related to quality or timelines.
  • Assist clients with issues and concerns, and ensure we meet our benchmark of exceptional client experiences.
  • Manage the store calendar, setting client appointments and team tasks
  • Collaborating with the entire MADE team to report on metrics, improve business processes, and help continue to grow our business.

What you bring to this role…

MADE processes a high volume of custom orders, each with their own unique set of measurements, style options, and timelines. Precise accuracy and attention to detail are crucial to ensure our business runs smoothly, and clients receive exceptional experiences.
  • You are highly organized, time-managed, and skilled at balancing the flow of your daily responsibilities to ensure the important tasks are completed.
  • You are thorough and forensic in your documentation and follow-through practices.

  • Developing new clientele through creative lead-generation such as use of social media, attending networking events, hosting of special events at the MADE studio, as well as off-site such as trade shows and branded launches.

  • Managing client orders, acting as the main contact point for client needs, and collaborating with our production team.
